DIRECTIONS TO HANOVER FRIENDS MEETING

From NH North

Take Route 10 south to the first stoplight in Hanover (Park Street). Turn left there. Proceed to the third stoplight (Lebanon Street). Turn right there. Be prepared to make an immediate left into 43 Lebanon Street driveway or the high school driveway immediately after the Meeting's driveway.

From VT North

Take Interstate 91 south to exit 13 at Norwich, VT. Turn left there. Proceed east across the Connecticut River to Hanover along Wheelock Street to the second stoplight (Park Street). Turn right there. Proceed to the second stoplight (Lebanon Street). Turn right there. Be prepared to make an immediate left into 43 Lebanon Street driveway or the high school driveway immediately after the Meeting's driveway.

From NH South at Interstate 89 Exit 20

Take NH Route 12A north to West Lebanon and the junction of NH Route 10. Turn left there. Take NH Route 10 north to Hanover. Proceed to the second stoplight (Lebanon Street). Turn right there. Proceed just past the high school and be prepared to turn right into the high school parking lot or into the next driveway (of the Meeting House) at 43 Lebanon Street.

From NH South at Interstate 89 Exit 18

Turn right onto Route 120, toward Hanover. Travel on Rt 120 for approximately 5 miles. You will pass signs and lights for the hospital. You will enter into Hanover and your first stoplight is at Greensboro Road. Proceed to the next stop light at Lebanon Street (~ 0.5 miles shy of downtown Hanover). Fork left at next light (gas station and Hanover Coop will be visible to your right). Be prepared to make a fairly immediate left into 43 Lebanon Street driveway or the high school driveway immediately after the Meeting's driveway.

From the Appalachian Trail

The Appalachian Trail runs through Hanover past the meeting. After crossing the Ledyard Bridge, it comes up the hill on West Wheelock Street, goes south on Main Street to Lebanon Street, which it follows all the way to South Park Street. Just south of the Hanover Coop, it angles onto a trail at the south end of the playing fields and heads up into the woods. The Meeting House is on the South side of the of Lebanon Street ( number 43 ) and may be identified by the sign in front.
