Application & Information Regarding the Use of the Meeting House
(Link to printable PDF)The Hanover Friends Meeting makes its building available to community groups and we suggest donations to help cover the cost of maintenance and operating expenses. Use of the Meeting House must be scheduled in advance with the Resident Caretaker. Please review the following information and submit your application to the Resident Caretaker via mail or email hanovernhquakers@gmail.com. You will be contacted by phone or email. Thank you.
The Hanover Friends Meeting House Guidelines
When using our space, please keep these things in mind:
- At the end of your activity, please clean up the space and dispose of all trash and recycling
- If you are renting the kitchen facilities, please sweep the floor, vacuum (if necessary) clean all counter tops,
remove all food and drink brought to the Meeting, and place dirty dishes and utensils in the dishwasher- Please shut windows and turn off all lights when you leave
- If you are leaving the building after 7:00 pm, please lock the doors as well
- Smoking and alcoholic beverages are not permitted at any time
- The heating system is controlled by pre-programmed thermostats so please do not adjust them
- Please do not use candles or open flames indoors
- Some parking may be available. Please speak with the Resident Caretaker
An advance payment of 50% is due with this application and the balance is due before or on the day of use. Other arrangements can be made for groups utilizing the facilities on an on-going basis. Our building is reserved on a per-room and time of day basis. Please review the donation schedule below. We do not rent our Library space so that it may be available as a place for quiet reflection for those who need it.
Please note that the Library may sometimes be in use for committee meetings of the Hanover Friends Meeting.
